WHITEHOUSE INSTITUTE OF DESIGN GRADUATE RUNWAY 2012

On Wednesday night I was invited to attend Whitehouse Institute of Design's Graduate Runway Show. 53 Designers presented various looks from their graduate collections. From Gowns, Lingerie to some very impressive Menswear, the Runway showcased the great variety and talents of each Whitehouse Student. Personally (and obviously) I was out to scout some sharp Menswear, and I was spoilt for choice. My favourite looks came from Amelia Hermawan, Caitlyn Smith and Benjamin Warmuth. The three maintained the perfect balance between having new silhouettes, Themes and Textures whilst still being very Ready-to-Wear. I will be focusing on a handful of the Graduate designers in the future. Stay Tuned.

Fast forward to Thursday, MARTAN Blogger became MARTAN Model... just for a day. Being short on Male Models I was talked into walking for the Graduate Shows throughout Thursday. Totally my America's Next Top Model moment of sorts. It was a fun... definitely an experience to remember. I don't have any photos (as I was the one walking) but I'm sure they will surface soon. Maybe if was taller I would suit it better... but for now modelling for my Style Diary will suffice.
