Form and Function. Everything tends to fall in either one of these categories. When Rick Owens debuted the Kiss Boots in the Fall/Winter 2019 Womenswear collection and slowly but surely it made its way into Menswear a year late and my heart thereafter. Now back to Form and Function. I'm sure these 5 inch transparent heel, platform, front grill boots function like any 5 inch transparent heel, platform, front grill boots. But let's not pretend, it is the beauty of its form that attracts me to these babies. Owens has expanded on the line with Western and Thigh-High versions... ... had to catch my breath with all the beauty. The only downside other than the steep price is where in a COVID world would I wear a pair of 5 inch transparent heel, platform, front grill boots?? I must find the answer....
