RTW F/W 2021 has forgotten days past and is ready for the future

  - Puff
  - Bold Silhouettes
  - Elevated Knitwear
  - Bye Bye Black

It may be 2021, and we may be still in the midst of a global pandemic. But you wouldn't know it from the RTW F/W 2021 collections. Vibrant, Bold and most of all not to be wasted wearing at home. There is always that question of 'who actually buys fashion' and now with lockdowns and financial states, the question is even more interesting. Designers are celebrating the coming cooler seasons with more luxe than relaxed. Puff is all the rage this Fall/Winter like Florals in Spring, whether from Rick Owens, Marni or SEA. Expressions of silhouette take fresher takes on broad shoulders, waistlines and sleeve lengths. Oversized to hide that extra COVID weight, or maybe the fear of the unconventional is no longer a fear after being couped up in the house for months on end. Ports 1961 and Ulla Johnson present knitwear as fancier pieces instead of those worn at home curled up with the cat. Whilst David Koma, Lanvin, Acne Studios and Loewe boldly bring back chic eveningwear and pieces designed to be seen greater than the waist up.

Planning for a bolder, brighter closet and future.
