Have you met Fred?
A few months ago I got the opportunity to style a Campaign for Fred Hates Fashion. Fred Hates Fashion is a Melbourne Spring Fashion Week event dedicated to celebrating local Fashion Designers both emerging and established. The night presents 7 Designers through Fashion Film and a Live Runway. This concept is a forward and creative way in which to present a designer's collection and vision to an audience, experimenting with a more stimulating fashion experience.
In one hectic day, with an array of Clothes and Accessories sourced from Local Designers, Boutiques and Personal Collections I got to style the Campaign and opening Fashion Film for FHF. From monotone to high concentrated colours and prints the Campaign shows an array of different creative perspectives. I was a kid in a candy store playing with a range of Looks, Make Up and Hair Options. It is not everyday you get to style such a large scale shoot, hopefully not my last but a great start.
Stay tuned for more follow up posts, including the Fred Hates Fashion Opening Film, Menswear Designer Films and Behind the Scenes.
