Life is like the ocean. It’s a combination of calm moments and large waves. You cannot always predict when the water changes, such is life. One moment you seem like you’re in control and then a wave comes out from nowhere. I used to think that such farfetched situations must be fictitious, that things happen in a typical way. That there should be enough precedent to cover everything. But alas the water is just that water, free-flowing however it pleases. Control is more of a perception than it is a reality. Because whether you call it life or water, we can never truly know what’s going to happen next.
