I'M WEARING
My new job requires Suits on rotation. Grey, Black and Navy. This also involves getting used to the
restrictions posed with such structured wardrobe. Though I now truly understand that nothing beats a
well fitted Suit.
FAVOURITES
Dare I say it, but I have finally come to a place where I enjoy a Routine. Stubborn towards the 'norm'
I have spun this stigma to use it to my advantage. Though I will always miss a drawn out Brunch on
any given weekday, Candlelit Friday Nights or Lazy Saturdays of TV in Bed are bliss.
TRYING TO AVOID
Shopping in general. Trying to be more strategic than spontaneous with my money. More specifically
(and as per usual) I am avoiding shoes. Crushing on more formal shoes that can transition from Work
to Play. But trying to avoid that domino effect where I have more shoes than there are Days.
MY MONEY IS ON
I am still obsessed with Skincare and Grooming... that fountain of Youth. I have shifted my focus
towards natural products, really working with the notion that 'My Body is my Temple' I see myself
verging on the statement: 'He had the same old clothes, but Good Skin'
ON MY MIND
The Fine Balance of it All. How to have and maintain it.
Having everything at a efficient level.
INVOLVED WITH
My love for old school Music. I recently got Spotify and as much as I enjoy the Top 40's of the world,
nothing beats the likes of Bee Gees, Supremes, Elton and Celine. I blame my parents for force
feeding their album collections on various Road Trip holidays. It is insane to think that I still know
all the lyrics to those songs, and the memories that go with them. Definitely on rotation in my office.
REVELATION
The high level respect you receive from wearing a Suit than when you are in casual Streetwear is
pretty amazing. It is kind of shocking how many people instantly smile at you or give you a nice
nod, unlike when I am in a store in say jeans and a t-shirt, it is like I have a target on my head saying
'I'm up to no good'
MANTRA
Have it all, just not all at Once
HAPPINESS IS...
Inner Peace; Mind, Body and Soul
