Dressed for a balmy summer, it seems SS-18 is all about the proportions and looking nonchalant without the need for baring skin and muscle. Maybe I am becoming much nicer but I seem to have warmed to a lot of looks this season. Maybe it is the varied options or the fact that I can no longer rock a crop top so effortlessly so I now gravitate to the more tailored pieces. The blazer is making a triumphant comeback, and this time they are large and in charge with generous arms and boxy shapes. My standouts include Kenzo, Thom Browne, Chayalan and Cerutti 1881. From Kenzo featuring only Asian models with bold colours and fabrications, Browne's development of 'Men in Skirts' and the smart ease exuding from both Chalayan and Cerutti 1991 the outlook season's is sunny with a chance of change in the wind.
