Arid Garden, Melbourne
I never knew that there was a cactus garden in Melbourne. But alas tucked away within the Royal Botanical Gardens there is the Arid Gardens. I went there with a friend, aimlessly walking and exploring the gardens. I was taken aback feeling as if I was in another city, well just for a moment. This was around the time I was moving on from retail into my professional career. Hence the uber minimal monotone dressing, which to be honest is still evident to this day. I also had super short hair after getting it cut in Malaysia the year before. As much as I like the look, I also remember the crazy upkeep to make it look normal. Definitely not a Beyonce 'I woke up like this' moment. More like cactus hair...
