Signature to a Tee - Meet Craig Green
There a few designers that stay uniquely consistent with their aesthetic season to season. A Masters graduate from the famed Central Saint Martins, Green started his namesake label in 2012. The label falls under menswear, though the design sensibility has attracted female consumers and at times can be considered gender-neutral. Green explores the terms uniform and utility, with classic pieces like 'the worker jacket' and design accents of rope and quilting. Conceptual runway pieces stretch the interpretation of clothing which is something more common in womenswear than men but is a welcome burst of artistic creativity amongst the sea of beige and suits. Green proves that seasonal gimmicks and sex appeal are not always necessary to push the envelope.
