mood: ruffle

A ruffle a day keeps the doctor away. That sounds about right. My only true recollection of ruffles came from ballgowns and other types of dresses. They always felt foreign, for girls only. It was only until JW Anderson incorporated them in his Fall Winter 2013 collections my world opened up. Cascading sleeves, delicate trims or just an explosion of texture. My ruffle fantasy came to life. I still do not own many ruffle pieces,  but I'll put it down to the necessity in COVID and the fact that they aren't as common as I would like them (not to mention JW Anderson didn't make his ruffle boots big enough for me) Regardless of the practicality I cannot wait for the day to swim within a ruffle fanstasy.
